Beautiful Nordheimer Upright Grand Piano, over 100 years old (Serial Number 11387). Excellent condition with stunning wood grain finish. Beautiful, rich tone and sound. Although this is an upright piano, it has a full cast iron back creating classic grand piano sound and resonance. The upright and grand pianos produced by Nordheimer were among the best pianos ever made in Canada. The company produced upright and grand pianos of a high quality starting in 1890; about 5000 by 1901, 11,000 by 1910, and 21,500 by 1927 (when the factory was sold to Heintzman & Co.).
